WHAT IS THE CCS CERTIFICATION
What is the CCS® certification?
CCS® stands for Certified Construction Specifier. It’s a CSI® certification that demonstrates your expertise in developing, writing, and managing construction specifications. CCS® goes beyond basic documentation knowledge. It proves you understand how to evaluate building solutions, select the right materials and systems, and communicate those decisions clearly through well-written specifications that govern what gets built.
CCS® requires CDT® certification as a prerequisite. If you haven’t earned your CDT® yet, start with CDT® 101.
